I really must read up on events in downtown Chattanooga on weekends.
Had I done that, the closing of a four-block square of streets between Main St and the TVA building would not have led me on a twisting route to leave the Chattanooga Market and head back across the river.
Seems a bunch of those pesky folks in neon-bright funny suits hunched over expensive bicycles were going 'round and 'round all day.
I understand that it is unsporting to think that city streets might be available for ordinary traffic on weekends. My bad.

That's what horns on cars are for.
Just drive through 'em, they'll move, alright.

Well, if those bicyclists knew their place, they'd have stayed out in the farmlands!

That race occurs annually at the same time every week. I'd think by now y'all would be used to it.

Hardly. I go down to the Market almost every week and only this week did I need to find a way around all the closed roads.

Once per year.
ONCE per year.
Not every week. ONCE per year.

Oh, well I can't even figure out when holidays fall, I certainly won't keep track of the bike races I was confused by "same time annually every week"

Comes of not being perfect.
