Hey everyone i was just wondering if anyone knew how a person could get a job sitting with elderly people. I am current college student who is doing the pre-requisites for nursing. I'm really just looking for a weekend job so i can make a little extra money, cause college isn't really all that cheap and its hard to get a job during the week because i have a crazy college schedule. So any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I would recommend you contact the AIM Center on West MLK. 624-4800.

Alexian Brothers might be a good resource; they're sort of a clearinghouse for many local social services.

Many hospitals and nursing homes hire people for weekends only-it's called the Baylor program. Also, check into home health care, they often need people for weekends and like to hire nursing students.
