Anyone know anything about this? "Chattanooga Airport Parking – If you are a disabled veteran and are accustomed to free parking at the Chattanooga Airport, be advised that as of July 1st 2009 that privilege has been discontinued." (From thecavc )(edit to fix the link) Veterans - especially disabled veterans - have earned all the privileges that they can get.

There's plenty of free parking for Veterans - and everyone else - at Groome Transportation on Ringgold Road.
Apparently, the local airport's too busy and can no longer accomodate disabled Veterans. I've sent copies of this story to the national and state VFW, the DAV, the American Legion, and Congressman Zach Wamp, a good friend of Veterans. Maybe we can help to cut down on the local airport usage and free up a few parking spaces.
