I've always liked these Leon Payne lyrics for some reason: You know that little girl next door mama I believe her name was Betty Clark Don't tell me that she's dead mama 'Cause I just saw her in the park We were sitting on a bench mama Thinking up a game to play Seems I was holding a wrench mama Then my mind just walked away
You think I'm psycho don't you mama I didn't mean to break your cup You think I'm psycho don't you mama Oh mama, why don't you get up? Here's the background on the song.

Dark and lonely on the summer night. Kill my landlord...kill my landlord. Watchdog barking, do he bite? Kill my landlord...kill my landlord. Slip in his winda', break his neck. Then his house I start to wreck. Got no reason, what the heck? Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord...
C-I-L-L My land-lord.

Hmm, I seem to remember that poem being recited on a tape...

I think it was Garrett Morris on SNL, although originally written by Tyrone Green. Tyrone did a lot of stuff like that: "Kill my landlord, kill him dead, put a bullet, in his head". It might have been Fridays and Eddie Murphy, but I don't think so.

Yep, it was Eddie Murphy on SNL. Looking through the bars as he said it.

Just a photo of a man with an arm knawed off would be quite appropriate for this offing from the Vogons.
Oh freddled gruntbuggley, thy micturations are to me As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles, or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. - "Do not go gentle into that good night" by Dylan Thomas.

Nice one Felix, made me think of Hawthorne's Young Goodman Brown.
“Well, she’s a blessed angel on earth; and after this one night, I’ll cling to her skirts and follow her to Heaven”

OK now remember the object is to take a few lines from a poem/song and create a photo shoot around it. You guys are mostly on the right track so far the best one has been emailed but number two is here.
you guys are good, creepy but that's a good thing here .[grin]

On second thought, "The Congo" may be a little too "dark". Deleted it.

On candystripe legs spiderman comes Softly through the shadow of the evening sun Stealing past the windows of the blissfully dead Looking for the victim shivering in bed Searching out fear in the gathering gloom and suddenly a movement in the corner of the room and there is nothing I can do when i realize with fright that the spiderman is having me for dinner tonight

The Myth
Smell the stench, foulest foul! Hear the wolves begin to howl. Here She comes, as free as the wind! But many things we cannot comprehend. Her eyes are hollow, shapeless to form. Her words affect you like a storm! Should we fear, or is this a myth? Surely, I know not YOUR fear of Death!
