Family Focused Event with “Two Wheel” Theme
EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (Sept. 23, 2009) – The City of East Ridge will host their first annual Fall Fest at Camp Jordan Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public with a wide variety of activities for all ages. Fall Fest 2009 will have a two wheels theme, kicking off the day’s activities with a bike and wheelchair parade. After a chili cook-off competition, a day of face painting, music, games, hayrides and vendors, festival attendees will grab some popcorn and head to the lawn for a family-friendly movie screening under the stars.

Hey, Bob. When you get a couple of free hours, count the number of wheels on your chair and get back to me.

"...and head to the lawn..."
I'm sure most of the fecal matter from the flood will have settled into the dirt by then...

I'm always amused when I see the phrase "First Annual" anything.
It's sort of like "We play songs one in a row* at the WAWL".
* usually.

I certainly do appreciate the humor but feel compelled to say that my Red Bank commissioners have represented me rather well for the most part.
Sometimes it's taken a little poking and prodding, but overall, I'm rather pleased with the way my local governmental representatives have performed.
I miss mayor Pat, and I'd love to hear them start saying, "I move..." rather than "I make a motion". Picky, aren't I?

Actually, this was originally going to be named THE CURTIS ADAMS FAMILY REUNION, but with that name, they knew there would be no fun and no one would show up!!!
