I keep forgetting to post....
Wonder why that happens this time of year???
The Haunted Yard is BACK on. Due to the end of the monsoon season and a few good sunny days, the hubby has managed to get the yard back into some sort of shape. It will be open on ATLANTA DRIVE - not my yard this time - October 16th and each Friday and Saturday thereafter.
I probably won't see my spouse again until after November 1st.

I'd give anything to have the money to build from the ground up - a haunted B & B, haunted amusment ride, haunted wedding chapel, haunted restauarant, etc. that was housed all in one building and open year round!

Yes, Yoda. That's Atlanta Drive. You won't be able to miss the mess - I mean STUFF in the yard.
And Misty, I would love to do a year round haunted attraction, but don't have the fundage.
Gridbug always does the party. Which is oddly better attended than hubby's yard sometimes. Or at least the people hang out and mingle a great deal more.

Haunted and wedding chapel?
Those are redundant terms, aren't they?

I went over there Saturday to drop off #1 son for a trip to Atlanta, GA. It's looking really good. Hubby always works so hard on all this stuff.

Yes, a full week after the holiday would be a touch odd.

Hubby should have frequent stops in the yard to vanquish some "spirits."

The yard doesn't have food and an open bar.

Atlanta Drive - Is that the street where that house has all those Christmas lights and decorations?

One block over. The Christmas lights that can be seen from space are on Memphis, the road closest to the CB Robinson bridge access. Atlanta is one street to the right of that one, toward Hixson Pike, at Joy Baptist Tabernacle.

Please join me October 16th at JOY BAPTIST to organize a ralley and petition to prevent the aforementioned haunted house from opeining in our neighborhood. We must take a direct stand to prevent the satanic influences of this demonic world from infilterating our children's minds!
As you know, the City of Red Bank prevented one from opening a few years ago across the street from a local church. We too must take a stand against the occult, the supernatural and the witchcraft that often time accompany these events.
Then we can all petition the house on Memphis this Xmas for being such a disruption and nuisance to the community as well. We don't need make believe heros wearing red suits going "Ho Ho Ho" unless he sees a Ho downtown somewhere.
Then we got the easter bunny. What the fuck does a bunny have to do with easter? Isn't that when jesus came out of the tomb and if he saw his shadow, we'd have six more weekd of winter? Where did the bunny come from?
And New Years, come on, Auld Lang Syne? Get real. Why not Jimmy Buffet 'Lets get drunk and screw"? Isn't that more appropriate after a night of heavy drinking.
See ya'll at the Haunted Yard!

Just be careful which rock you crawl under, ScarlettP.
It's not like there's a whole lot of room in here, you know.
