Anyone else remember the good old days when Fleamarkets were like community yard sales? The kind like the old 23rd street Flea were great! Every thing was outside and every booth was run by someone who was basically cleaning out the garage. You could prowl through great junk and find fun treasures for next to nothing. *sigh*
Then everything went to "Indoor" and people started selling everything out of the China Trader magazine to furniture. All new stuff that just didn't sell at the regular stores, so now it's only slightly over priced and way out of fashion at the flea market. Right next to all those wonderful 'Hand made Crafts' that people made out of boredom and now want you to pay them $10 an hour for their labor. And "Collectibles" everywhere! There's no more 'old junk out of the attic' - these are all priceless antiques.
I used to love flea markets. Now, I might as well go to the mall.

Go to the back lot at East Ridge Flea Market, It's usually packed with the good ol' junk, and growing all the time. When I go, I very seldom go in the building except for the facilities.

I hear the hamburgers are exceptionally great at the flea market! You should totally try one sometime!
