Spent nearly six years in sales for an auto heating\cooling company. Been in every shop around,and have seen things that would make you cringe....here's my suggestions based on my personal experience.
Best Car Dealer: Never bought a new vehicle,and never interacted with sales,so I dunno.
Best Used Car Lot: Seen allot of negatives at used lots. The only one I've ever bought from in total confidence is Sevierville Auto Brokers. Actually bought my Trailblazer EXT from Vincent without a test drive...that's how good they are!
The worst used lots are "buy here,pay here" lots! :shudders: (seen to many shady things at these places)
Best Auto Repair: Been in every shop around. Know allot on a first name basis. There's two I trust. Ron at Tire World in Red Bank,and Price at Ooltewah Auto& Marine.
Price is good people,and would trust him on anything without question!
The absolute worst shop is Quality Tire on Cherokee :shudders again:
I'll ad another category for radiator shop.
In Chatt that would be Southern Radiator on Broad.Best best is Car Quest in Cleveland.
And also best iol change is East Ridge Fast Lube.

For auto repair..Opie at Wrights Motors on Rossville Blvd...good prices and fast work and a genuinely nice guy.

auto repair - A & R auto on rossville, blvd. great mechanic, a little strange, but still a great mechanic.

I'll toss in a little about the place.
Back when it was still legal to buy a big container (similar to a propane tank for a grill) of CFC-12 Freon, I bought one tank.
Time passed.
I wanted a vehicle's system evacuated and then filled from that tank.
The people there told me they would evacuate the system but would not fill from the tank because "it's not Freon".
That's the last time I had any dealings with them.
