I like 'em hot. But please don't dip the wing in the blue cheese. Save that for the celery, carrots, and in my house, green pepper. Oh, yeah. I'm hungry. The wings are to be deep fried until crisp. Then tossed in a bowl with Franks Hot Sauce and butter. No cheating, this is first quality. Take the veggie of your choice. Try cauliflower or broccoli in addition to the regular. Yum.

I never dip the wing into bleu cheese......I like wings double fried, shaken with sauce after frying, and the sauce to be hot, but not to where it ruins the taste. I want celery, with bleu cheese, and beer.
Surprisingly, Gondolier's on Lee Hwy has very good wings, and damn good fries to go with it.

Please don't dip the wing in the dressing. And, don't batter the wing. I'm not a rabbit either, but I love the veggies. tco4482 has it correct. Thank you. Now, what brand of beer?

That's a good one, but I like stout. Guinness is really good. They don't sell the Canadian beers here, OH BOY, YEAH Old Vienna.

Oh, I said I'm not a rabbit. But, I do like fried rabbit, squirrel, pheasant, and have eaten elk, buffalo, bear, deer, but no 'possum.

Tastes like soap. Yes, I've eaten it. My grandfather would take me hunting when I was younger. We rarely shot anything but squirrels, even though his hound would always be treeing something, be it a 'coon or 'possum. I asked him about that and he said we had to eat anything we killed, and squirrel was good eatin'. So one morning about 6am the dog treed a 'possum and I asked my grandfather if I could shoot it, and I did. We took it home, skinned and dressed it, and cooked it for lunch that day. Some of the worst meat I've ever tasted. And that counts some that had gone bad.
But, put enough hot sauce on it, I'd probably eat it again.
Now, as to wings... I don't do the veggies or blue cheese/ranch thing either. Some good fries are ok. The hotter the better, to a point. For instance, and I know they aren't exactly great wings, but BW3 Blazin' sauce really doesn't have a whole lot going for it other than heat. Some of their other sauces aren't bad, although most tend to be on the too sweet side. My friend likes the honey BBQ with the spicy garlic added, which I admit is pretty good. I tend to go with the jerk or the spicy garlic. I'm not there for the wings, though, I'm there for friends, beer, sports, occasionally trivia, and Golden Tee Golf.
The "traditional" hot sauce and butter variety is one of my least favorites. That's mainly because I don't like most "red" hot sauces that much (and especially not Frank's). I do like Tabasco, but even that wouldn't make me like wings with it. Make it Tabasco Chipotle and you may have something going, though. Love that stuff. It isn't hot, but has a great flavor.
I eat at the Gondolier on Lee Hwy quite a bit, as it is fairly close to work, but I've never tried their wings. Might have to give them a shot. Probably the worst I've had in town are the ones at Sweeney's BBQ on Hwy 58. Their BBQ is ok, not great but not crap, but their wings are awful. They use the same red sauce/butter recipe on their "buffalo shrimp" too. Maybe someone who likes that style would like it, but certainly not me.

Don't like the hot sauce and butter concoction either.
The absolutely worst wings, ever,is the place on Brainerd rd in the old Kenny Rogers building, whats their name?
daworm; You need to try a hot sauce called Jamaican Hellfire 4 In 1. Its actually a "sauce",and not just the hot juice everybody else calls sauce. Its very good\flavorful stuff.

Tabasco Chipotle is the best in Bloody Mary. As a teenager, I finally took the test and passed to get a hunting license. I did, Dad was going to take me out and teach me a few things. He had an English double barrel, side by side 14 guage shot gun. We walked in the woods, came across a rabbit. He let that little thing have both barrels. Then he picked it up, walked over to me, let me get a good look. "This is what can happen to a human, be careful." I never got to hunting. Later in that year, Dad had his sights on a doe. Unfortunately, she raised her head and looked right at Dad. He unloaded his rifle, walked to the car, drove home, put all of his guns up, and never hunted again. Yeah, my a big, mean, softy.

Chicken is good, but it's pretty much the common denominator. Of course, bad chicken makes a bad wing, but its the sauce that can turn good chicken into great wings.

That would be Heavenly Wings, and, you're right. First time I've ever had one or two and tossed the rest in the garbage.
And, what's up with Keller's Wings? Never heard of 'em.

Actually, I like cool beer. Ice cold hurts my throat. I never drank beer until I was fishing in Canada one summer. They actually brought the beer inside and sat it next to the stove to warm it up a little.
Yeah, I'm in the mood for wings with Franks Hot Sauce with butter. Oh yeah, blue cheese and celery, carrots and green pepper. YUM!!!

The wings should be fried until crispy on the outside, and the wings shouldn't be too big (have seen come wing drummies that were big enough to be confused with real drumsticks). The sauce shouldn't be thick, but it should definitely be hot. No batter or breading. No dipping the wings into dressing of any type, and you can forget the vegetables, unless you're talking about french fries.

You had my interest and my respect, until you said no veggies. MAN, give it up to blue cheese and carrots, celery, green pepper - and BEER.
