I do not mean to offend. I only want the news. Sports is not news. Period I am tired of watching TV or even browsing the internet to see sports on a news broadcasting network. This is not news. I want to see news. Where is Walter? ??

Thank you. I want local news. I don't think that should be that hard. I put sports in the same category as soap operas. They are lowest on my list.

Local news is rarely sensational enough. The networks want ratings far more than they want to inform.

Warkitty is SO right on that one...that's all any of the "news" departments want!

Sigh, sometimes I wonder why I even bother coming to this message forum.

Dah, I don't know. That's why I asked the question. I guess what I consider news and what "they" consider news are two different things. I want to hear the news, local news. My neighbor might have been shot or raped, but won't be on the news. So, what good is the "news"?
