I've spent the last decade in SW Florida and the going rate for men's shirts was 99 cents each. I haven't found one in Chattanooga that is less than $2.35 each. Some have deals on Tuesdays but they are still about two bucks.
can anyone help a brother out?

Have you tried the inhome, dyer stuff? I use it and like it. But, if you don't iron (no, not the nine iron) you won't like it.

yeah OW, that is the deal, I like starch and pressed and I can't iron. I'm kinda a tightwad to boot  |

If you were really a tightwade, you would learn to iron and use the inhome (cheap) stuff. Now, try saying "I am rich, and don't give a damn what other do to save money and look good". Certain things in life don't come cheap.

Don't know what part of town you live in but I use the cleaners at the corner of McBrien and Ringgold Roads. They are very reasonable and they have their Wisenheimer there with them during the day and she's a great dog. Loves to be petted. She recognizes my car when I drive up and meets me at the door with her stuffed horse ready to play.  |
