Now Worm, you know very well that Motel 6 has TVs in every room.
It might be fun to head to the Texas Lounge, get a refreshing beverage, and wander the boat with a camera for a while. I wouldn't want to stay though, they won't let the dogs stay on the Queen so I'd have to walk six blocks each way just to walk the dogs.

Having toured the magnificent ship I must ask, is it that they won't allow dogs to stay or is it that no self-respecting dog wishes to stay ?

Since this thread is under General Discussion instead of Photo.....I'm going to repeat what I've said before----"GIVE US OUR VIEW BACK"-- that park was made for the community to enjoy and the views,not for the occassional tourist to sit on a damn rocker for his visual pleasure........I hope it fails miserably if it's not moved.
Anyway--have a nice contest.

How long has da boat been there?...I tend to agree with van,it's right in front of that cool park(already gettin' involved & I am not there yet!)

Personally, I think the old girl ADDS to the look of the riverfront. The park itself is not that interesting to look at from the south shore. What I wish is that they'd quit docking that ugly little Cat boat on her port side. It blocks a good clean view of a historical land (sea) mark.
Besides, you can still easily see the carousel from the south shore ... and that's the only thing worth looking at.

Went down on the south shore tonight to get a night shot between the bridges,and the durn boat didn't have any lights on it hardly :meh:
