I signed up for a free H1N1 shot in a couple of days by calling the health department at 209-8393.
Of the three locations they told me about, the Eastgate place seems the best for me, but I am not familiar with Eastgate so would like a little help.
The description is "in the old J.C. Penney place between Convergys and the police department".
I know how to get to Eastgate but would like more specific instructions.
I'll be coming from downtown around Broad and Ninth.

come down brainerd rd. turn into eastgate just past the bowling alley (across from Kryspy Creme) in about the middle of the long building on your left there is an arched entrance, go in there. After admiring the artwork on both sides of the hall, turn right when you get to the middle.
can't get you any closer

Be prepared for to answer questions to the 3rd degree. Then you get an ID card with specs on the injection you rec'd.

Spouse wondered why we had to walk three miles but liked the work.
The prices brought a smile to my (grumpy) face. It hurt. <grin> Ouch. <grin> Ouch. <grin> Ouch.
* Edited to add:
A word of advice - do NOT "premedicate" before you go in for the shot. No Tylenol, etc, etc, and especially no Tamiflu. That's the word given to me by one of the people at the shot place.

If you take an H1N1 shot jjust be prepared for the cancer that follows, The Obama administration has to get the population down to 100 million somehow. Oh yeah, the Obama death panels won't approve treatment for people suffering for those types of cancers. So Suffa suckers!

Chattanooga State thanks the Chattanooga Hamilton County Health Department for vaccinating over 300 individuals at Chattanooga State in December!
They will return this Monday, January 25th from 9AM to 2PM and will be set up both in the lobby of the Health Science Center and the Omniplex cafeteria.
This service is free and open to anyone, not just students, faculty and staff.

well saying that I have known one person personally that died of H1N1 and that was before the vaccine was available, and have known another to be really sick from the virus, I will be looking into getting one of my own before I go to anymore cons. Big crowds, lower sanitation thoughts and lots of hugging going on, it was bug exchange central if I really want to think about it.

It looks like both CVS and Walgreen's offer the shots, but I doubt they're free.
