I'd like to get a bit of an idea over the next week about what people are planning to bring to the big Christmas Party.
I'm not worried about the amount of food that will be brought - I know you people, after all - what I am worried is about "main" dishes, like a turkey or a ham or so forth.
A potluck with nothing but salads, mac-n-cheese, chips and desserts seems a bit odd even for our group.

De ja vu! Didn't you do this once before? I R Bringing Sweets, Popcorn and Mystery Meat. And lots of hugs and kisses for everyone who wants them... and some who don't.

He did post it earlier! I said we were bringing a sliced ham and maybe rolls. He posted it almost verbatim on Nov 26 on the party thread.

I am bringing a black bean salsa. People tend to like it and since I'm driving a fairly long distance on a Friday afternoon to get there I don't think it wise to try bringing anything that has to be kept hot.

crap! Just found out last night that it's the same night as Thom's Christmas party at work. I was going to bring a dish to pass and once again the "Naughty and Nice" and "VERY Naughty" list cookies. Now that I know some of you better than I did two years ago I would find it much easier to determine who goes on which list...... if we do get to stop by I will bring something.

I reposted this in a separate thread to make it easier to track who was bringing what. I'll be making cheesecake and possibly some mac-n-cheese.

As Gary called it, we will be bringing food-food. I think I've decided to bring turkey dinner on a bun.

Not sure yet since I'm not sure I can make it. If I do, it will probably be diet drinks and cups.

And the winner of Ms Scarlett's cock full o' mystery meat is:
**Drum roll please**
Beef pot roast with carrots, red potatoes and onion. No gravy as I have no idea if I have any thickeners that are gluten free.
