ADD-No,I am not. OCD-Yes,to some extent. My biggest "thing" is touching radio,and remote control buttons twice,or until it "feels right".

I've got a thing for balance. Something touches my left hand, and I'll touch my right to match. Comes and goes, but my wife notices.

gazintas = Goes Into
Said quickly with a country accent meaning division. (2 gazinta 8 four times) I think it was Gomer Pile (Mayberry RFD and Gomer Pile, USMC) or Jethro Bowdine (Berveryl Hillbillies) who used to say it that way.

I prefer to think of myself as OCO (obsessive compulsive order) because I can get rather obsessive about things having to be in their proper place. "Disorder" has no place in my OCO. On the upside I don't need to use lights too much, I know where everything is in the dark

I just get obsessive about the oddest things. As in, all the nuts that go into my Christmas goodies have to be hand cut with a knife so all the pieces are close to the same size with no Big Chunks and no 'Nut Dust' in the bottom. This means that it takes me about 2 hours to 'properly' cut one pound of nuts. Last night, I cut up 2 pounds of Walnuts while watching 4 hours of "Alice" on SyFy. No one will ever notice. Hubby said "You know, no one is ever going to take a bite of those and think "Wow! All the nuts are so uniformly cut!" " He doesn't 'get' my obsessions.

I've only got two nuts, and they're not uniformly cut.

For some reason, that combination scares the hell out of me.

Scary thought, isn't it?
Actually, I thought someone would jump on "Nut Dust". I was talking about those tiny little pieces that look like dry, tan cream of wheat that settle to the bottom of any container of chopped nuts. It had nothing to do with Yoda's undies.
