I need a really great groomer for Precious and Gracie. The last one did an absolute terrible job. The one before didn't cut toe nails close enough. I have stopped at two beauty shops on Hwy 60, but wasn't very impressed.
Please, tell me where to go. My little girls need a beauty appointment.

I don't have dogs, but I heard Doggie Day Spa was good.

Thanks, where is Doggie Day Spa? You have to understand, I am COUNTRY, and a little bit slow. Except when it comes to beer.

I have no idea. My dog doesn't require a groomer, a boon for which I am eternally grateful. Of course, he does require a jacket when it's cold out. Just because he has some fur doesn't mean he has enough to keep him warm.

Jacket??? What's wrong with a blanket?? My little girls each have their own blanket. Do you think that maybe God made dogs small so we could love them better? Yeah, I do. I love those little girls. But, they need a hair cut.

He'd knock a blanket off himself. He's only outside when we're taking a walk or going for a run.

I don't know what there policies and or grooming techniques are but there is a neat groomer/border place on Dayton blvd/cherokee before the tunnels from red bank called The Ark. They was cats and whatnot but I would imagine they do dogs.

I have heard of The Ark. Its a little bit far from my house. Thanks, friends. I'll keep looking.
Anyone ever tried The Animal Clinic on Gunbarrel??

Animal Clinic does good work but not cheap. I had corky trimmed there once but Cairn terriers aren't picky about their haircuts.
I could see Strega in a leather jacket but not a sweater..

Not so much a sweater as a sport jacket.

I thought the one on the North Shore was called Doggie Day Spa...maybe that is it's nickname?

I thought the one on the North Shore was called Doggie Day Spa...maybe that is it's nickname? The one on the North Shore is Groomingdales and shares the shop with Bone Appetit. Petco is in your area and probably your more affordable option.

The local Petco takes care of the grooming needs for the wife's Bichon... well, except the last time. The last time I tried my hand at it. He's still growling at me.

So when that dog gives you the cold shoulder, is it the Bichon Freeze?

Cute, The Freeze. Listen up, I want a loving groomer that will think as much of my babies as I do. I know, my hair cut cost $18, the Yorkies runs about $35, each. I just want someone that will give them a kiss and love them. I will not have my babies mistreated.
And they really need a grooming.
