Don't play games that are motion sensitive like Tiger Woods golf without the new "Motion Plus" add-on for the controller. Tiger Woods 2010 w/motion plus is excellent.
My family has throughly enjoyed the Wii Sports games for a year, and continue to play it on a regular basis, especially the bowling. My son loves to play Mario World on it as well.
Overall, it doesn't have enough adult oriented titles such a first person shooters and such like the other systems do, but for the games that use the motion well, it's worth it.

Thanks, Blackfox. That's the kind of information I'm looking for.
I hope others will add more comments from their experiences because I don't know anything about the Wii but am curious.

Wii wii Wii!
I have the Wii fit and used it for a bit, but it's not nearly active enough for me. I played a few of the games in the sports package and enjoyed tennis and golf, but I imagine it would be far more entertaining with a buddy. I also really got into the Wii LightSaber game. I was bouncing all over the room with that!

A great system for the family. It can really give you a workout playing tennis or boxing.

Uh, I'm not so sure I really want to give her an excuse.
"Pow! Oh, sorry, dear *chuckle, snort*."
Do they have something like intermediate basket weaving software?
