RatzTM. I just saw some this week, but I can't remember if they were at Belk (Northgate) or Sears. Probably Belk.

I wear shoes with toes but not socks with toes. Shoes with toes can be found at Rock Creek Outfitters. Socks for these shoes might also be found there.

I saw someone selling Socks at 4th Avenue and 23rd last week. They had colorful socks with toes hanging on a display. Just be very careful there if you go.

Synchronicity?!...I just 'found' (today), a pair of Scooby-Do toe socks I took back from an ex-GF many moons ago. I may put them on E-bay.

Confirmation. She-who-knows-all (spouse, of course) said the socks were at Belk.
* edited because it's Belk, not Belks.

We Southern folk still put that possessive S on the end of most store names. It hearkens back to the day when stores were named after the person who owned them. We are all quite familiar with "Penny's" or "Sam's". I find it amusing when I hear older people talk about "Walmart's" or "K-Mart's". "Belk's" is not a problem.

Or are they putting a plural s on them to mean more then one?

Either way... Kind of weird... How so? Since most socks and most shoes don't have individual toes, ones that do are a bit on the weird side.

Do you wear gloves or mittens? Nope... I think individual toe socks and shoes are kinda silly... Whatever makes one happy though.

These are the shoes I'm currently wearing. I wear them daily while hiking, running and just out and about. The reason I wear these is because wearing shoes hurt my feet and they do so because they allow the foot to loose muscle tone, they toss the body out of alignment and they actually cause excessive force to be applied to the joints and back. As children going barefoot allowed our feet to develop an arch. Babies are born without an arch and are flatfooted. Forcing shoes onto a child's foot prevents the muscles to properly form the arch. After a person matures it is too late to form the arch. As a child I was allowed to go barefooted most of the time. I developed a good arch and I never had a problem with my feet until adult responsibilities forced me into shoes. My feet started hurting and I began having problems with my knees. Since I discovered the cause of my problems and got rid of shoes most of the time and now wear these Vibram FiveFingers my feet have quit hurting and my knees will once again support me running. If being healthy and without pain is weird, I'll continue to be weird. Right now I'm sitting in Einstein's Bagels wearing these shoes with toes and I've had two complete stranges stop and ask me about them. One was a young man between 18 and 22 and the other was a woman in her mid to late forties. They both wanted to know where to get them.

I like my "birthday sandals" best, but there were times over the weekend when I was chasing the puppy that I almost wished I had put on the store bought sandals before I went outside.

My neighbor loves those socks with toes. She buys them all the time at the East Ridge Flea Market - dollar a pair, new. (Yes, the one next to BiLo )

The first thing I do when I get home is take off my shoes. I kind of wanted to try out the Vivo Barefoots. They're based on the same idea as the Vibram ones, but aren't quite so goofy looking. They're a bit on the expensive side though. www.terraplana.com/mens-vivo-barefoot-c-153_157.html
