I heard Registration went smooth as silk! BRAVO!!!! The young girl that was helping with registration this year is very competent. She told me that this was her 5th year helping out with Chattacon and that next year she would get to be on the board. From what I know of business, cons, and the such, they'll find some reason not to bring her back next year and next year it'll be as screwed up as it ever was. |

What was the official word on RegistrationFest Friday night? not sure on offical, but we did break a thousand this year. I "think" we hit 1100... |

@ 6:30 Saturday I saw badge #1077 just after it was printed. I don't know if 23 more showed after that but 1077 or a rounded up 1100.
Either way was a dang good crowd AND when it took longer to check in the hotel than it did to get my badges @ 4:30 on Friday they did something RIGHT!

I don't think it had anything to do with badges. "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!" as i said in the arc attack thread, I always hear that.... but they typically show me their badges |

Well, most people show their badges. Some just take a few minutes of circulating about before obtaining one. true, but there were a few that were a bit miffed when I asked for ID to confirm that the badges they had on were actually thiers.... Those two guys literally looked like little puppy dogs when I busted them.. |

LOL! Goomba, I really wish I had seen that. Considering how many times Hubby and I were bared from the Consuite because we changed clothes and left the badges behind... It's time to see someone else get busted for actually trying to cheat.
