Greetings CMFer's... (Don't know if I should post this in classifieds,so I'll post in Gen. Disc.)
I've been busy of late so haven't posted lately.I'm leaving Austin 3 weeks from tomorrow:Chattanooga bound!!! I have a few 'irons in the fire' but still want more possibilities.
I am looking for a 2 or 3 BR house to rent(I don't 'do' apt.'s,duplexes or condos tho an occasional 'lean-to' is fun).Prefer something somewhat centrally located(to downtown) area.I have a short-term hotel suite/efficiency rented for a week while I look for something else.My GF is coming 3-4 weeks later.Chatt's prices are pretty dang awesome so am not worried about that aspect of renting, guess something in the $500-700ish range. Any leads or info would be greatly appreciated!
Also I might need a storage unit(short-term) & definitely a PO Box, there were absolutely no listings for those in the Yellow Pages I picked up when I was there in Nov.I got it at the Visitor's Center downtown, but it is not very comprehensive(actually it's like a condensed version or something). Yeah, I know I can go online but if anybody has any reputable recommendations it would be ,yes, greatly appreciated.
I can't wait to get to Yall's fine city & get out of the Austin megalopolis!
Peace~ Joy~'Cheers'

Not really located near downtown, but I saw a house for rent at the corner of Graysville Road (off E. Brainerd) and Neighborhood Drive. It's only about two or three years old.

I reckon Mikey Dokey don't want me to be his neighbor? Or anyone else for that matter?!
Sorry to be rather vague about the duration/lease-term I hope for: short. Until I/We find something better.

Personally, I just haven't seen any 'for rent' signs on houses. Happily, I've seen fewer and fewer "For Sale" signs. The house across from me is apparently in Foreclosure. It's BIG. Most likely started life as a 3 bedroom rancher - like most of the homes in this neighborhood - but has been modified. I know they have a big garage with a Mother in Law type apartment above the garage. Unless the previous owners remodeled again.

There's still a few hand-written "for rent" signs in north Red Bank, but I don't know anything about the homes, terms or costs.

I'll have one for rent in Brainerd around that time. 2 bed,1 bath. Haven't figured up the price yet, but it will prilly be in the 550-650 range.

In N Chatt you pretty much have to drive the neighborhood. Things rent quickly there, not too many folks see the need to advertise more than a sign in the yard.

I could care less if you're moving from Hixson to Prickson or from Bonny Oaks to St. Elmo. One thing I know for certain is, with what you are willing to pay, you won't be living anywhere close to me.

Are there any "centrally located" trailer parks?
