From the NIV (New Improved Version?)
"May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership."

It always amazes me when I see sites like that the amount of effort and resources expended to attempt to prove a negative. I'm also a little saddened by the fact that with all that work going into proving why God does not exist they miss the whole point of why God must exist. It makes all of their work pointless.

I'm disappointed that this community allows this kind of thing. The call for imprecatory prayer is all too often a thinly veiled call for assassination. Neither American nor Christian IMO. But I will leave you to your own

I'll pray, but not for that SOB. Oh, by the way, he is a son of bitch, literally. He is not a natural born citizen of the United States of America. He should be impeached. He should never have been allow to run for office.

He should never have been allow to run for office. On what basis are you disparaging the mother of Obama? Regardless of what you think of Obama's mother, he is far enough removed from the transition to adulthood to be responsible for his own actions. There have been many court challenges to Obama's natural born status and all have failed. I can understand that you dislike Obama as a person, but your prayers should be for anyone exercising the power of president, not necessarily for the individual if you believe that prayer is is helpful to guide the decision making process.

Indeed is there any more work put into the www.godisimaginary.com/ than is put into the multitude of websites attempting to prove that God does exist? Which God? Does not every religion proclaim themselves as the ONLY TRUE religion? All cannot be telling the truth even if sincere. Thankfully you have the government protected right to practice the religion of your choice so long as it does not threaten the government. In part, the government would like to be held in as high esteem as any other religion.

I can understand the motivation for selling people on the belief in a god, any god, but I have trouble understanding the motivation behind selling anyone on the notion that there is no god, at least not to the motivation that would drive someone to going to the extent I saw on that website and dozens of others attempting to do the same thing.

It would be my guess that most of the disagreement is with the practices observed in the leaders and a few acquaintances. Next would be that the 'proof' of an existence of God cannot be readily replicated on demand.

"The call for imprecatory prayer is all too often a thinly veiled call for assassination."
Or a more thinly veiled theft of the punchline from someone else's joke. (And people say I'M a "conspiracy theorist.")
