What: Spring Notta GatheringWhen: Saturday, April 17, 2:30pm to late Where: Coolidge Park Why? Because we haven't had a gathering since Christmas and many of us have cabin fever and want to get out and DO something. The basic thought is to have a "Day In The Park". Frisbees, soccer balls, kids, kid-like adults, cold beverages, snacks, blankets, etc etc and so forth. And once it gets around dinner time, there are a number of places right there where we can gather for food and such... plus the Riverhouse Pub is a good place for after-dinner drinking and general carousing. As for where we will meet at the park, and what to look for to know which group is ours, I'll leave that in your capable hands to come up with some workable ideas.

This is an open-invitation event - feel free to bring whatever friends you have. The more the merrier!

If someone could bring their pirate flag, that would be very cool...

If I wear a red shirt and blue shorts, will I be OK?

If they are blue underpants and you pull your trousers halfway down, you'll fit in, but I'm kind of with Jay on this one. You just won't be OK.
You'll have to settle for "simply superb". Do I get points for that?

I WOULD bring the beer, but some peeps frown on that.
I'll see about passing the Pirate flag to someone who will be sure to be there early... otherwise, the flag might arrive to late to be of use. As always, I'll be working until at least 2, but I'll be there ASAP.

I can pick up the pirate flag. It's an easy for people to find us AND mark our territory.

Hubby is off today, I'll ask him to dig it out. Easier for you to run by the house or the shop?

"Open Invitation"? As in "bring the whole gang"?
I have pirate flags. Unfortunately that day they'll be flying elsewhere. This time I'll notta be there. Maybe Mikey can come in my place.

Would Purple be considered neutral? Or would that be to confusing?

Don't worry about colors...let's all just prance through the Park in our rainbow-patterned tie-dyed togas spreading love, hugs, and kisses...
