maybe the mayor ran the census workers out of town the same way he is doing the merchants?

Odd, they have been quite adamant about insisting that the left side of my shop is a residence and that some one lives there. We have gotten the papers in the mail, a phone call and a personal visit from a worker. Sorry. No one has lived at 3710 Dayton Blvd. for almost 10 years. (About the time of the last census.) I told the worker that she could go look around at my house full of stock and see if SHE thought it looked like anyone lived there. I swear, I do not house CBL or any illegal aliens. (Just the rubber kind.)
