public place, public performance. as long as you don't sell the photo or use it to sell something**, its legal. Besides, its free advertising for them.
**there are other things that would make a photo not legal, but those are the facts that matter here. (have to ask newsshooter for all the details)

Its not a LEGAL issue, its a personal issue. I did not know that the folk involved would like having their faces plastered on a public forum, hence I took no shots that included faces.
Its a habit ingrained from the pagan community. While these folk may or may not be pagan, I preferred to err on the side of caution.
