This is a skull found on a trip through the woods today. I was thinking dog but the double fangs are confusing. Yes they are blurry, camera was acting crazy in location of these pics but cleared up later

It's most likely a dog. It's not really double fangs... just looks like the teeth have slipped down to an 'almost falling out' possition.

BTW - Anyone who finds animals bones - I'll take them! Any critter. Any condition... although I prefer them NOT to smell.

They do look cool though.......get 'em bleached, put 'em up on a case in the living room... Great conversation starter

Dang Joe! By the time we get around to making you take me there, some one else could get that cool skull. Jake needs 'decorations' for his orc suit. Since 'daddy' has two dog skulls on his, Jake can't be outdone.
---------------
And sorry guys, but I'm a costumer first. Nothing looks like the 'real thing' and I'm NOT digging up my own dogs to wear their skulls. I prefer not to have that kind of emotional attachment to my accesseries.
When LibertyCon had a suckling pig for their 'dead dog' party years ago... we kept the skull. It was pretty cool. We put fake boar tusks on it and no one knew the difference.

Well if you want to crawl through the overgrowth of an abandoned graveyard to remove the skull of an animal I will give you the directions. Did I mention there was no body or lower jaw? It may have been used for some ritual.

More likely that the bones got scattered by other critters.
(Some people are just ALWAYS looking for trouble instead of the obviouse. But I guess JoeDog never read Sherlock Holms.)

I'm with Scarlett. More likely is the skull was taken by an animal (buzzard, coyote, etc) and when the meat was gone, dropped and left where you found it.
