The closest thing I'm allowed to have as pets - No, the crow in the background is not carrying an Easter basket. That's a feeder way out yonder just making a sort of optical illusion.

If you read of my demise, you'll know I was able to teach it a trick.
It just now pecked on the sliding glass door a few times. It can't see in because I have some reflective tint on the glass (neighbors who don't believe in using the front door). So I put out a couple of goodies for it. When the day comes that crow is accustomed to knocking for food - and spouse finds out - I'm dead meat.
Send my bones to the x-ray class at CSTCC. They need them more than you do, ScarlettP.

Hey they are NOT pets. They are "visitors". They are pets when they want to ride around on your shoulder

Good photo Yoda!
I never cared for crows, they gang up on hawks and chase them away. I like hawks.
Saw a big red-tail get pissed and fight back. The crows decided to go somewhere else to "play".
Was moving in the car, didn't get a photo..
damn, damn, damn.

Yes, crows will mob hawks and drive them out of Crow Territory. Only natural considering crow chicks would be a nice meal for hawks, and crows are intelligent enough to think "hey, if we mob that sucker and get it out of here, our homes and babies will be safe!"
No, despite that habit (and I like hawks too) I like crows. They used to follow me, but not so much anymore. They seem supremely uninterested in my yard and rarely land within the boundaries.

(I took this picture through the screen part of the sliding glass door. The foreground is the rug inside the house. That gives you an idea of how close crow is.)

My friend had a crow who would visit regularly. I was feeing him one time and he flew off with my car keys. Luckily he landed on the roof.
