Hi,
I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, my family and I came down here to North Wales, United Kingdom for a short vacation. Unfortunately, we were mugged at the parking lot of the hotel where we stayed, all cash and credit cards were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.
We've been to the Embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in few hours from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills. Well I really need your financially assistance. Please, let me know if you can help us out?
Am freaked out at the moment!!

Her account was hacked.. Not real. Subject: Spam froim my E-Mail
My Yahoo account has been hacked if anyone gets a message asking for money please disregard. Terribly sorry, I'm in the process of getting it fixed.

Had one of my old college friends facebook account get hacked into and I was getting the same sob story from that hacker.

and, while Angela's grammar when writing isn't perfect (whose is?) there were several mistakes in the writing style that were a dead giveaway that it was written by someone whose first language isn't English let alone completely unlike her style.
I replied to the email this morning to let her know she'd been hacked based on that alone.

Ya know? As bad as the economy is with so many really talented people looking for work Its a shame nobody has at least tried to revamp the same old Nigeria scam into something more creative
