I haven't seen any down & dirty grungy flea markets like the ones they have just outside of Atlanta (like Bill's near I-20, for example). We have plenty of yard sales and little antique nooks, such as in East Ridge, but does anybody know of a good flea market? It's more than two months until the world's longest yard sale and I am in the grip of a jones.
Local would be up to maybe 35 miles one way. Thank you...

I don't care much for the permanent flea markets that has stalls for rent but I do sort of like to stop at the impromptu ones that appear in various abandoned strip mall lots like the one's around Dayton Blvd and Browntown Road. You can find real deals at these.

Sweetwater, TN has about the largest indoor flea market I've seen in the US. I-75 North a wee bit...

There used to be one every weekend in Monteagle, TN --- I-24 W a wee bit.

Flea Market Hill, Hwy 27, north of the Hwy 111 and Hwy 27 split in Soddy-Daisy. Saturday and Sundays.
