I usually check nooga.com on the weekends, to see local stuff from the week. This morning, my bookmark took me to newsandbull.com instead.
Looks like the local Chattanooga stuff is gone...
Anyone know why Igou did this?

That is asking an intelligent audience to explain the acts of the unintelligent. Who cares.

Mr. Igou made a decision to stop coveering the local Chattanooga news and he revised his site and the name to hopefully appeal to a nationwide audience. Rick claims the Chattanooga market was not supporting him enough financially for him to make a profit with his advertising. As a result, nooga.com is now newsandbull.com. However, having known Rick and being a faithful supporter of nooga.com since it's inception over 10 years ago, I strongly disagreed with his decision to discontinue local news. Thus, I decided to go out on my own and begin www.nooganews.com to continue the Chattanooga news. While www.nooganews.com is in it's early infancy, we are still making changes often. In addition, is not my desire to use it to make my living, as I am employed elsewhere, therefore ads are limited. Please take a moment to visit www.nooganews.com and let me know your thoughts. I am always open to suggestions! You may also email me news@nooganews.comThanks!

Between the Chattanoogan, the TFP, the Pulse/WPLZ and all the TV news sites, trying to compete for online advertising dollars for a local news website is pretty difficult these days.
