But here is a news flash for those on here that do performances of most any kind.. preferred spoken word poetry, freestyle, singing, what ever.. We have moved from Mudpie after it has now been sold to whomever and changed so much of it.
The new start and new place of Speakeasy is at "The Office" the lounge in the back of Downtown's City Cafe. Must be 21 with ID to participate and readings can now be above pg-13.
Starts again AUG. 23@ 8 pm.. all are welcome to come and see this new and improved word event.

I will let Christian Collier know that I have friends now interested in supporting this more.. I really appreciate it... Mudpie had great folks.. and if you are on this forum then you would fit right in with us at speakeasy, because I'd rather be weird than stale. And if you are here then you Automatically qualify as weird!!!
