Sheep?

Karen's current painting project needs a photo of a sheep from the back that is royalty free. Any ideas where I might find sheep around here?

There use to be sheep grazing in Grassy Cove. It's a bit of a drive and they may not still be there but I'm sure the excursion wouldn't be without other photo opportunities.

It's about halfway between Spring City and Crossville. Drive up US 27 to Spring City and take a left onto State Hwy 68. Grassy Cove is just over the plateau of Grandview Mtn. You will know when you are there.

Let me reiterate, there use to be sheep grazing up there. It has been several years since I've been through there. If you are just looking for sheep I'm sure there are some closer to Chattanooga. If you are up for a nice drive through some pretty scenery for a possible photo shoot of sheep then I'd recommend this.

my guess its the wrong time of year to expect lots of wool, we'll take whatever we can get.

Google Mahada Farms and call them. They have sheep. It's up to you if you're gonna take the pictures there, but if you choose to go let me know when and I'll get you to shoot me with my current horse too.
