QFT Clark Howard personally offended me when I came into the office with my food purchased from a fast food restaurant. He promptly drove off to some nice fancy hotel to eat and sleep. Double standards much? |

He's not even a Politician. He's a radio talk show host who tells us all "How to save your money and live better!" (Basically) However, he is on Talk Radio 95.3 WPLZ.

Off-topic, but could you PUHLEEEZZZEEE find "Green" column authors who don't base their entire presentation on having seen "Avatar"?!?!?!?!

I agree. I thought WPLZ 95.3 election night coverage was top notch.
I also think Clark Howard is an absolute tool.
Dave Ramsey would kick his ass

I personally like Clark Howard. He's not for everybody, but he lives what he talks about. The guy is a self-made millionaire, but he's still cheap. Uses a Wal Mart cell phone plan, but has an iPod Touch for the smart phone "feel." When he was in our studio last year, I found him to be very easy to talk with, and he comes across that way on the air. He doesn't insult his callers or make them feel stupid. He just finds the best way to help them with their problems or questions.
If that makes him a "tool," I wish I were as handy.

I've worked on a couple of Habitat for Humanity houses with him and found him to be very genuine. He's approachable and easy to talk to. He also is very passionate about the things he does. If he feels someone is getting ripped off it really does push buttons with him. It isn't an act.
