It seems racing it moving to younger and younger drivers... How old is old enough??? ** too young to race? ** personally I think there should be a minimum age to ALL professional racing. and it should be something crazy like 21.. |

Unless they've changed it (and unless I'm remembering incorrectly), WERA and CCS used to have an age limit, except for the small classes, and CCS even raised that age limit 3 or 4 years ago.
I don't think there need to be age limits, just ability tests (which they already have in place), but perhaps make sure they limit the size or class until they are at least a certain age, perhaps 16.

Kids are going to race. Whether, by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or four wheeler kids are going to race. I'm much less concerned with a child racing in an organized event than I am in them racing on the streets or in a cow pasture.
