I need a part for my car. Either I'm not explaining what I want right or no one ever thought to get just this one part because I can't find it at Auto Zone, O'Reilly or via phone at Advance.
It's the tail light y'see. The problem part isn't a bulb, those have all been replaced and one still doesn't work. So, I got the tail lamp connector plate thingy the bulbs are plugged into.
When I (meaning, Justin Tyme and I) went to install the new connector plate, we found that the piece that connects the wires to the connector plate is also bad and needs to be replaced. It's a small piece. I was told by the fellow at Advance that it sounded like the part should be the "tail lamp circuit board," but searches for that brought up the connector plate, not the part I need.
Anyone else got some ideas of what the part name is before I take some pictures with my iPhone to wallk over to O'Reilly and say "THIS?" My alternate is driving my car with disconnected tail light to the shop and saying "fix it, I'm tired."

Holy smokes!
Yeah, that seems pricier than it should be.

Glad JT found the part. Now with a part number, you may find one online for less.
Without a make and model and year, help is extremely difficult to provide. Salvage yards, would be a possibility even for a new replacement if the item is very prone to failure. Or more pricey, but usually the best quality parts, can be found at the dealer.

For pricing, use the phone to get a quote. I have found local stores quoting lower prices than posted on-line.
Also, if one brand store is closer or you simply prefer one store, mention the lowest price and where found. Ask for a price comp. Generally, each of the major chains are authorized to sell at the lowest price you find after a clerk verifies your claim.
