The last DCon I went to, I spent the Saturday night drinking in a hotel bar with my best friend of 20 yrs and Brian Lumley. I would have gone more in years past if the guest lineup was more impressive......still hoping Bruce Campbell will drop by sometime.

It's Big. It's Crazy. It's FUN! You'll never get close to any of the 'Main' stars, but there are so many 'also ran' celebrities that you can always find someone fun to chat with, so many panels that there is always SOMETHING going on, so many people you can just hang out in the lobby and watch the freak show go by.

I fully understand it, I just do not like that big of a crowd. I much prefer smaller cons. More personal, less hectic.
