Split from: Movie+sites%3FI thought this was a thread about places in this area that have been scenes in movies, anybody know of any? I know "The Wild River" was shot in the Charleston, Cleveland area in the 50's early 60's?

The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia had at least one scene shot in a dive on 23rd Street.

I know a lady who's job is to scout for movie locations. Some really big movie scenes were shot here that nobody knows about. She's really tight lipped about who/what because the fact that the "stars" can fly into Atlanta and drive up to Chattanooga to shoot a scene and back can be done without the press finding out.
One of our strong points is our Steam Locomotive. Ours is the only one in the country of "that" time period that still runs.

Woot! We finally bought "Zombie Land" on DVD and watched it last night. Almost on subject:
The Haunted House in the movie was Netherworld in Atlanta. The "Zombie Instructor" in the "how we did it" part is Ben Armstrong, the owner of Netherworld.
