I was planning/looking forward to shotfest but apparently it ain't gonna happen due to the accusedly oppressive heat this year. As such, I suggest and would attend something for Halloween if enough interest is shown. Fked if I know where/when but a fine irish whiskey, mischief and laughter is mandatory, so....(with a grandiose sweep of the arm) I open the floor for feedback/ideas.

Shotfest never panned out due to a number of reasons, including Shot's randomly rotating work schedule, my buying a new house and moving, and, as mentioned, the unbearable summer heat (damn you, Al Gore!).
As for a NottaHalloween, I'm up for a party. Suggestions of when and where, since our normal North Chatt party animal is not throwing his annual bash this year.

Ever since Dutch moved Hallowcon to tha actual weekend of Halloween, I haven't been able to go. Too many work commitments and such.

Shot fest could be fun if we all went camping?.... I am hosting a chattacon party at Hallowcon this year.. Since my dear Brother is going to be parting at Fantasy fest in key west!... that Christ Warrior dude needs to go down there for that!!

-'Shot! was transferred twice from Spring through Summer and narrowly avoided a 3rd transfer just weeks ago. (Ever heard the one word expression "Politics"? Well, 'Shot! has a mouth that conflicts with common career advancement and it comes with the occasional price tag. Fuck'em if they can't take a joke.)
-The average temperature for July was 180 degrees (a Fact) and after discussion with Gary, I literally refused to attempt a gathering under those circumstances at a location with no running water or power. The year before was bad, but this year would have been Criminal.
-Finally...I literally don't have a weekend off anymore as a result of afformentioned scheduling.
It's... "Complicated" (not to be confused with the gay-ass movie.) That schedule has calmed down somewhat, however, and I am not adverse (heh) to A) Attempting a Hostation at the prior venue, OR B) attending something somewhere with someone this month.
What say you, once constant conversational companions?

...Halloween is a Satanic holiday It's not just for the followers of the Dark One silly, us Erisians enjoy it as well - eating hotdogs without buns, Bobbing for Hymens, Meat Cookies, ritualistic Hello Kitty Sponge Baths... Fun for all. Err, got me there on both counts  Seriously tho, with Grid's party gone, and the growing list of us unwelcomed at Hallowcon - any other cool options? |
