Call for Help

Once more into the breach, once more...


I'm moving one more time. Since I'm moving back into MY OWN HOUSE this should be the last time (gods willing and the creek don't rise), but I need a small bit of help. Two things.

1) some newspaper. I'm packing and need something to wrap the breakables in. This is important because I firmly believe in being packed BEFORE those kind enough to lend a hand show up to help. Makes the whole process go much, much faster.

2) someone with a pickup truck for about 2 hrs of loading/unloading. My house is only about 3-4 miles from my current little abode. I have a small desk, large bed, large couch, chair and a two-drawer end table that won't fit in my sedan. The planned day of doom? Sunday. I'd make it Saturday but I have a prior commitment AND need to spend that morning actually making sure the house is somewhat related to clean.

For today though, I'd really appreciate someone recycling their newspaper through me.

My mom always has a stack of newspapers in her recycle stack. I'll call her and "hold" it. If you find any paper closer than east ridge then let me know.

People come out of the woodwork for the free stuff

in fact, someone on the freecycle page the other day was offering free piles of newspapers
