FCC Reaches Record-Breaking Settlement with Verizon over Mystery Fees Verizon Wireless reached a record-breaking settlement with the Federal Communication Commission over "mystery fees" charged to its cell phone customers. Verizon agreed to make a $25 million payment to the U.S. Treasury, and to promptly refund a minimum of $52.8 million to about 15 million customers. alm-editorial-us.msgfocus.com/c/1dFnhbIbOGgVrKvKRx6

I don;t see Verizon holding on too much longer. I was a customer of theirs for several years and left because of their constant price increases. At one time nearly everyone I knew was with them too. Today, no one I know is a customer.

Wow...a $4 payment to each of 15 million customers - bad economy solved.
I would guess Verizon will "hold on" just fine. Largest carrier in USA, and fastest growing.
Maybe I should change over to Verizon...$4...woohoo..

We've been customers for years and have had zero complaints and will remain one unless something drastic happens.
