It's TRUE! Beauty and the Beast had our first, nationally known political personality - Basil Marceaux came in today to rent a costume for his wife to wear at an unspecified upcoming music festival and political rally.
Up until today, we thought we were hot stuff with clientele like Jed Mescon, Don Welch and Gary Poole. But none of those local yokels ever made it onto the Colbert Report.

His wife was quite pleasant. I had no clue who she was until he came in to approve the costume we selected. It wasn't exactly what they had in mind, but I don't actually have a good "Mary Todd Lincoln" outfit at the moment.
Oddly enough, with the Tea Party and so forth gaining popularity, I'm getting more and more calls for Adult sized Colonial and Civil War era costumes that do not look like "Gone with the Wind." Apparently, historical costumes help call attention to their "Back to the Basics" concept.

Stock the painted variety and Scarlett would always have the correct style and size in stock. She already stocks a big variety of face/body paint. Good stuff too. Its not the "high end" paint but most people don't want that anyway. (its hard to get off) |
