Saw it on Monday and wondered when Hixson became it's own city?

Being a city is not a prerequisite for having a welcome sign. Plenty of neighborhoods have welcome signs or other ID signs. Good to see such a friendly gesture from Hixson!

There are two that I know of, one on the airport side, one at Shallowford Road. It's the smiley face that is the icing on the cake.
