Not that it's your business but my parents were divorced by the age of 12. It's not any issue with me. I just don't play dress up games. I wonder what issues people have that do. were they molested as a child are they molestors now. They don't or won't grow up hmmmmm, heavy drug and alcohol use, battered masturbators... Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I imagine it was difficult on you at a young age becoming the man of the house that your mother depended on, having to give up a part of your childhood to take on adult responsibilities. I can see how that would play on you making sure your kids don't go through the same thing. Being responsible all the time and all ways being the adult. I can see how that would cause resentment to build up for others who can so easily let their hair down and their inner child play. |

Jay just who the hell are you to judge others? Are you the moral police now? So you have a problem with people expressing their selves? You belittle these people thinking that they are somewhat inferior to you and less educated. I have been to many of these and have gotten into many conversations with NASA engineers and scientist, authors, and artist. I get into conversations on physics, cosmology, and other subjects that would be so far over your head that you would not even feel the breeze. .
It is not up to you to judge others. My guess some would find your way of relieving stress just as weird. So let me put it this way Judge not less ye be judged.

Man I ain't judging no one I just think going to dress up games is immature. But like i said earlier to each their own. I didn't know this would get some many peoples panties in a wad. Slowly backing out of this thread....................

My guesstimate is that less than 20% of con goers "dress up" in any significant way differently than their normal casual dress. Of those, only a few can be considered costumers. You see more in the pictures, because that is what is unusual, but not everyone at a con is dressed up like that.
