Judge not, unless you wish to be judged.

Getting past the BS posts, PM, how are you coming in at a sub dollar per pack rate? By my calculations, I'm paying about a 1.50 per pack, assuming each 16oz bag will last for 250 tubes. I'm still on the hunt for a better stocked shop in the Graysville to Fort-O area if anyone has any suggestions. Problem I'm having is finding a place with a large enough retail area for a chair to get around in.

I am getting almost three cartons (600 tubes) out of one 16 ounce bag. I must not be putting as much tobacco in as most. (Or I miscalculated, which is possible!)
Even if I am getting 400 out of each bag, it is still .89 per pack.
Now that I am making them in a more standard manner, I need to re-calculate anyway.

Is there a tobacco sold that is similar to what a Winston tastes/smokes like ?

From what I've gathered online, one 16oz bag lasts for 200-250 tubes.

I am gonna do an official autopsy on one of mine and weigh the tobacco contents to see exactly and scientifically how many smokes I am getting out of 16 ounces.
Simple mathematics! ;D

Do tell! Kinda hard for me to even guess at this point how long mine will last as I'm dipping into my bags randomly.

JC:
I weighed (on a non-certified digital scale) the amount of tobacco I am currently putting in each cigarette I make.
I chose a cigarette, at random, from a pack, I had manufactured.
It weighed 0.037 ounces without the filter/tube (it cost me one (1) randomly chosen manufactured cigarette!)
I paid $11.99 for 16 ounces of tobacco and $2.17 for each box of regular 200 filters/tubes.
Doing the math, I am paying $16.33 per 2.16 cartons of smokes.
That equals $7.56 per carton (200 smokes), or $0.76 per pack (20 smokes each) if I continue to make the smokes in my current, standard manner.
But, that is just me. ;D
Correct me, if my math is wrong.

Ya gotta throw in a fudge factor of plus or minus 3% for using a non certified scale.
Just kidding !

My first cigarette was fifty-seven dollars.
The rest will be free until I run out of supplies.

I quit smoking 4 years ago, all my cigarettes are free now. Willpower and discernment are mighty powerful.

Since we are not as highly technical as the folks at Phillip Morris, I was noticing that I had a lot of "shake" left in a pack as I can't pack the tubes as efficiently, and as precisely, as they can.
I got one of the cheap tin 20 smoke holders (@$3.00) as my old Marlboro containers were wearing out. By putting 20 smokes in the container and then slightly forcing the lid down, it crimps the ends of the smokes for you! Very little "shake" is left after smoking the pack.

Am I the only one keeping on-keeping on?
After trying several brands and a "premium blend" or two, I finally settled on Four Aces Mellow with Tube Cut Kings Lights
