Longtime UTC Political Science Professor Bob Swansbrough Dies

Longtime UTC political science professor Dr. Robert "Bob" Swansbrough has died at the age of 72.
The Signal Mountain resident died at a local hospital on Tuesday, according to a notice from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Dr. Swansbrough had been associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences since 1992.
He was assistant dean of the College of Arts and Sciences from 1990-92.
He joined the UTC faculty in 1971.
