(from an e-mail) "Celebrating over 85 years of family fun and memories, Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park is preparing for the 2011 season! The South’s favorite family amusement park is offering guests an opportunity to ready themselves for a summer of fun. “Our online ticketing option for 2011 is already on our website and is currently offered at a special preseason discount!” offered Talley Green of Lake Winnepesaukah. The online ticketing system lets guests purchase and print their passes right from home at a point-&-click savings of $4.00 per person when they enter the promo code “EARLYBIRD”! “The special EARLYBIRD promo code is only valid until March 31,” stated Green. “Fans of the park can buy their ride passes now, save, and avoid the ticket booth lines when we open in April!" Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park will open for the 2011 season on April 8th! Guests may purchase & print their Gate Admission & Unlimited Rides Passes from home by visiting www.lakewinnie.com. "

AND for those of us who enjoyed the Lake Winnie Halloween Spooktacular, I have heard it through the super secret grapevine that they are planing to do it again! Woot! They are already making plans for an even bigger event. Even my jaded 20 year old said that his outing to Lake WinnipaSpooka with his friends was the highlight of the season.
If you haven't been out to Lake Winnie in a while, you might just want to check the place out again. They've been doing a LOT of work out there and it's really nice.
