I just finished making a half gallon of fresh iced tea, I like to mix green tea and black tea equally and use a little less sugar than what the recipe normally call for, but much to my chagrin, when I got finished mixing my tea I noticed that the pitcher that I thought was 2 quarts was actually 2 liters, oh the shame.

It's even better if brewed as sun tea. I like to mix regular (black) tea with a fruit-flavored herbal tea. Raspberry or Lemon are good for a hot day.

I drink a lot of iced tea. 2nd only to beer.
The only two pieces of advice that I would give on making tea is..
1. Dissolve your sugar in cool water before pouring hot tea into the mixture. This prevents burning the sugar, which affects the taste.
2. Bring your water to a rolling boil and then pour the still boiling water onto the tea for steeping.
