We still have no power. Cleaning out the freezer today. Now we hear it may be 8 days. But we're fine and the house is intact. Went by our friend's house, Dennis Plumee, last night. His house in North Chatt is devasted. We were without power at work yesterday for awhile, but it's back.

We just got power back on in our neighborhood. My son's Girlfriend lives in the Ely Road neighborhood. We went in there Wednesday to 'rescue' her. I've never seen that kind of destruction before! She'll be camping out at my house until some symbolism of normality returns.
