Track 29 Will Hold Its Grand Opening Labor Day Weekend
A new venue will offer Chattanooga a wide range of live shows
Chattanooga, Tenn. (July 27, 2011) – This September, Track 29 will be the newest premiere entertainment venue to open in Chattanooga. Located on the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo campus, Track 29 can accommodate audiences between 1,000 and 1,800 people.
September 1st will mark the grand opening of the venue with its first performance by country singer Jamey Johnson.
Track 29 will host national and local bands of diverse music genres to satisfy audiences across the region. "We want to offer Chattanooga a higher level of entertainment in the form of national touring acts that typically overlook the area due to the lack of a proper performance facility," said Track 29 developer Adam Kinsey. "Other southeastern cities attract current bands and larger crowds because they have facilities similar to Track 29."
Confirmed shows demonstrate a range of genres with everything from country music favorites Corey Smith and Drive-By Truckers to M.Ward and Marc Broussard for the acoustic-rock fans.
Track 29 is a non-smoking venue with parking on location. Tickets will be sold as general admission and standing room only, however a small number of shows will offer seating. VIP skyboxes are also available.
Show details and tickets are available online at www.track29.co.
