Anyone know of any creepy old or haunted looking motels in the area? Doesn't necessarily have to be haunted... it just needs to have that grungyesque facade. And I would prefer one that is closed up so I wont have to deal with crack-heads bothering us

What is the purpose? Are you looking for interior or facade? I may have an alternative location that with imagination could fit.

JC, follow this route and somewhere along it you will find what you are looking for.

601 Walnut street is pretty creepy, but I doubt it's what you seek.

The Robert E Lee in downtown Athens is not only an old Hotel but is also a former and famous "GENTLEMAN'S CLUB" which is a very nice way of saying "House of Ill Repute." Now it operates as a bar/dining establishment, and I think they have a banquet hall for rent.
