THE "BIG ONE" A COLLEGE RADIO DAY NEWS UPDATE!
Hello everyone,
So, [Tuesday] October 11th is basically here and we have over 330 college and high school radio stations signed up for the day! We are excited that this day will be truly special and that, from all the different plans we have heard, this continent will come alive with special events and programming that celebrate the medium of college radio.
If I have not said this before, I will say it now: I am deeply, deeply proud to say that I work in the world of college radio. It is a vibrant and passionate community. I salute you all. ...

The WAWL will participate with special programming, very heavy on local music at 9a, noon, 4p, and 10p.
